  • Wirefly.com took advantage of me with their fine print

    In July of 2010, I placed an order online for a new phone through Wirefly, for a T-Mobile phone. I received the phone, and although it was originally purchased with an individual plan, decided that I wanted to move the phone onto an existing family plan that I had on another account (the family rate plan was MUCH higher than the individual rate plan). I did not think that would be an issue, and T-Mobile was more than happy to do the move for me.   • Activation Fee Promise

    I purchased 3 phones from wirefly 2yrs ago and got the 2yr contract with a free activation on all three phones and a desktop charger. great service. My 2yr contract was up may 2011 so i decided to go with wirefly again becasue of the past experience I had.   • Wirefly phone review

    BEWARE!!! I purchased a new phone from Wirefly however it did not work properly. Returned it for a replacement....phone was backordered for over two weeks. Finally received new phone BUT found out it was defective when I was able to get to an ATT store 31 days after I received phone. ATT contacted Wirefly and told ATT they would honor the warranty since it was only one day. I had to contact them when I returned home to schedule exchange. I was speaking to a foreigner that could not speak English but continued to say Yes Ms. Smith I understand and apologize blah blah blah...over... More...

  • Great price, horrid customer service

    Basically, my problems stem from information that isn't present on the website prior to ordering. First, there is no way to ship items to different addresses (I was upgrading a family plan and one phone was destined for a child living at college). But that only became a problem because of the second item missing from the initial webpage. The phones are automatically activated within 24 hours of receipt. If everyone lives at the same address, that's great. But if someone lives over 200 miles away, that is a huge problem, since they won't have their phone when it goes live.... More...
